Vocational Programs
A variety of facility based as well as community based vocational opportunities are available. They are  assigned to assess individual interests, skills and develop basic work skills. Specific vocational training in selected occupational areas are available, e.g., food services, and to assist people in attaining supported or competitive employment. Desired outcomes include increased earned income, social integration, and personal independence.

Supportive Services
The Homestead Group offers an extensive array of support services that is available to all program participants, based upon individual needs. Services are provided by, or under the direction of, certified or licensed professionals and are designed to enhance functional independence.

Support includes:

Adult Basic Education :
For persons over the age of twenty-one years who wish to continue their formal education in academic areas, The Homestead Group provides classes in adult basic education. This program provides instruction in functional academics and literacy skills. The program  is available to a limited number of individuals, referred through their case manager.
